Good personal hygiene is important for the health of pregnant women. Personal cleanliness involves keeping your head, hands and body clean. It is crucial for both pregnant women and new mothers to stay clean and healthy. One of our aims at Kunashe Foundation is to provide education for women on practical and sustainable hygiene tips.
1. Wash all your clothes properly with quality antibacterial detergent or soap.
2. Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds after touching surfaces and before you touch any food.
3. Always wear cotton undergarments that are well fitting and breathable to prevent infections.
4. Pregnant women have suppressed immune systems and should avoid overcrowded public areas to reduce exposure to disease.
